Scope of the Journal
Hilla University College Journal of Medical Sciences (HUCJMS) is a peer-reviewed and open access journal that focuses on promoting medical sciences created from basic sciences, clinical, and community health research to integrate researches in all aspects of human health. Dental, pharmaceutical, biochemistry, and nursing researches integrated with other medical specialties are welcomed. It has many articles which include original articles, review articles, letter to editor, editorial, case reports etc. and is very popular and has a very wide circulation among the clinicians and biomedical scientists in Iraq and in the neighboring countries alike.
The journal aims to promote, develop, and exchange scientific knowledge and co-operation between clinicians, scientists and others involved in the field of biomedical sciences. It also strives to promote scientific research in various aspects of biomedicine and to establish highest ethical standards in biomedical research. It works to disseminate knowledge and information amongst the general public in relation to clinical and basic medical sciences.
Articles published online under the Ahead of Print model are considered published and can be cited and quoted using the DOI as the reference source. Journal system has a policy that changes will not be made after publication of an article without following accepted procedures for making corrections to the scientific record.
